    Well, if you ask most members of TW, Tacoma's can't tow and you should go buy a F350 if you want to tow that 3,000lb camp trailer....

    Blue is a common mistake when it comes to towing. Contrary to popular belief, blue decreases towing efficiency by ~3%. Your optimal choice would be a Limited TRDSR5 in pyrite mica. And 2WD with front locker, of course.

    Can't get Double Cab Long Bed with M/T... such a bummer...

    I wish our local dealer could hold onto any Taco long enough for me to test drive to my house and back... the width has me worried.

    A lot of my buddies are telling me this as well. Honestly, I don't plan on having anything that will exceed the 6300-6800 towing capacity. This will be my first truck. If it doesn't do what I need to do, then I will trade it in, but I'm pretty sure I will be good, especially with that blue limited with front locker. :rofl:

    Are the black fender flares removable? I have the exact same truck and color inbound. I was gonna have the black flares painted. But looking at the SR model makes me think they are removable. If you look there is a gap where the grille connects to the quarter panel that is covered by the flares. My guess is you can just remove them and call it a day.

    If it is same as gen 2, someone asked the same question back in 2011 and after 17 or so smart ass answers, someone replied with 83.5", mirror to mirror. I'm hoping it is the same, or damn close.

    By the way, great looking truck OP. Hoping my Quicksand looks as nice. Seems to be a polarizing color. Which makes me like it more. Will need some black bead locks.

    According to Jeff Lange, our resident parts expert, there are holes and clips that are holding them on. So they are not removable without significant body repairs.

    Does the TPMS show individual tire pressures, or does it have the one warning light and you'll need to figure out which tire is low? I always seem to have a leaky tire, so hoping it'll tell me which.
