There has been a few revisions on the bushings as well as which washers should be used , Hairy Tacos may be an older version ......

SPEC said nothing to me about the washers. They were installed as the provided diagram depicted. I have not had any troubles with 'em since.

Those few words are 98% of the time installing the entire suspension... I did brake the bolt but...

Great little video on how they work though!

I had to cut the head off the passenger side bolt and buy a new one from a dealership, $19.83. Put in in from the other direction with ease. Other than that I didn't have any problems.

I've had mine on for three years now and have had no issues. I was lucky when I ordered mine and received the newer spec rides. If all you have is minor alignment issues then these uca's would be a good option. If you do a lot of wheeling and/or hard on the suspension then maybe consider something with a different design.

You can bend the sheet metal pretty far , just gotta watch out for some rigid lines behind where you need to bend it

I was actually surprised how little creasing there was when we did mine and the paint all stayed intact but I understand your concern

Without bending metal , how do you propose to put the new bolt back in ?

Sorry not sure if this has been covered or if its a real dumb question but i was just about to install the sleeves into the bushings and noticed this groove/lip ... Is this directional to the bushing? In that video it didnt mention anything nor does the install sheet... Just curious

From what Jeff at Maui Off-Road said, it doesn't matter the orientation of the grove as its there to allow it to pivot better. You can call SPC tech support to verify.

I also don't see how the orientation of the groove would matter as long as the inside of the bushing is all the same, which I think is was on mine. I'm pretty sure that it's a grease passage way and for other types of bushings that may be serviceable by zerk fittings, you'll also have passage ways in the bushings for the grease to flow to all parts of the bushing evenly.

i installed my SPC arms this weekend.

Piece of cake, you dont have to bend the inner fenders far at all.... grab a big pair of channel locks and literally 2 minutes per side worth of bending.... i dont know why everyone makes such a big deal about it.

I think there's enough variances from truck to truck to make it either a walk in the park or a nightmare job. I can tell you that I'm no stranger to wrenching and mine was a chore and a half as a one-man job... especially the passenger side. I've read others haven't had any issues at all and barely had to bend. This is what leads me to believe that there's enough variances in the suspension mounting locations that some are angled just a little bit off to make things either easier or more difficult.

Its probably more of body mounting location if anything... suspension mounting especially on that UCA bolt is identical on all frames.

That stated, my buddy with a 2011 only had to bed it out a little as well.
