I went to check out the only truck fitted with a tonneau cover on my dealer lot and I've notice the tonneau cover is loosely fitted on the truck. The last folding section by the tail gate moves up down about a 1/2" while in the locked position, allowing you to see inside the bed. Has anyone else notice this on their trucks?

I am waiting on a TruXSport roll up. I had good luck with it in the past and it's light only $300. The Toyota Tonneau kills a third of the bed unless you remove it.

I'll have to check the brand that I have, it's a fold back, but it fits pretty tight. I don't like that it's really heavy but it makes my bed locked so no one can get in it. Here's the best picture that I have of it for the time being.

Please search for existing tonneau cover thread(s). Some of this has been addressed.

I have seen the same thing with the rear sticking up a half inch. Looking at alternatives and I like the Backflip VP. Waiting on a response from the company on if and when they are available for the 16's.

I'm curious about this cover because it's relatively inexpensive, and looks like it's easy to use. Is it waterproof? Did you have any issue with leakage? It looks like velcro on the sides...have any issue with it closing ok if dirt gets lodged in there?

Since the 2016's are already rolling around ... can someone please post detailed pics of the cover that comes from the factory?

That appears to be a Bak-Flip. Definitely a nice cover. I had one on my F150, and will be putting one on the Taco for sure. I wouldn't say they are heavy though.

I asked them a few days ago via live chat. They said to check back in 30-60 days...

Well, I am only 5 foot girl. lol flipping it all the way back does take a bit of effort for me. I do like it a lot. It's not 100% water tight but it's good enough. I like that I can close the tail gate and the tonneau and lock my tail gate and you can't get into it.

The tonneau has the pull corn on the underside. and it's a separate pull cord for each section so I can flip one up or all of them.

Mine came with the the Tonneau. It is a bit loose on the back flap. But not enough to see inside. It seems like a durable cover. May be a pain to take on and off for large loads though. There was no gap between the weather seal and my tailgate plastic though. You do have to push the corners down to lock them into place. Try that if you haven't already.

It appears it doesn't sit flush against the rails and a small gap is present on the driver's front side. Sorry about the doubles.

I had no issue with leakage with it. I like that its lite and I can roll up only what I need. The sides are HD Velcro. Again no issue. It shuts pretty tight and cannot be opened when the tailgate is locked. One of my neighbors has a Tundra and showed it to me on his truck. he has been using it for years and he parks outside 100% of the time.

I definitely don't want the toyota Tonneau. That looks like it will leak at the back. Not for $650.

I get it. I'm 6'4" man, so not very hard for me. Mine was pretty much water tight with only a little that would come in through the tailgate cracks is all.
