The way the grill and hood is designed our truck let a lot of air bypass radiators. So it's not that it runs hot but it helps with keeping it cooler when your running it hard.

Not only does it act as a cooling panel to keep more air flowing thru the radiator but it acts as a great work bench for your tools when you're working on something, plus I'm sure you've dropped a bolt or it rolled off somewhere u set it, that magnetic gray will be great for that!

I thought that was what a thermostat was for. I've run mine hard and never seen temps over 200

I've never had a cooling issue, but I ordered mine more to clean up the engine bay and for a place to put my tools, etc..

If it helps with cooling, that will be an added bonus.

    Worth it, to me.

Yes that's what the thermostats for......I am sure my air-conditioning will cool my house with all the doors and windows open too but i'm assuming it'll run more efficiently with everthing sealed up
This product may not be for everyone and It mightn't do any good I just like bolting things on my truck 90% of others don't have:cool:

@PSU Taco85 side note....... How do you like your rear bumper? After seeing pic of your truck a few months ago I've decided that's the one I want!

I love it. Have used the side protection multiple times over the years and it has saved me a bedside and tail lights. I'll be up by @HomerTaco place in a few weeks if you want to check it out in person
