Thank you for the input. I just have to find someone to tackle cutting the uppers without raping me on price.

Im used to all the rattles and vibrations coming from driving track day prepped cars on the street all my life.

For running 3" bypasses in rear, mounted outside frame, with 1.25" wheel spacers, I'm assuming the frame will have to be notched a little?? If yes, anyone have some pics?

I'm running 2.5's with a 1.5" spacer. Had to cut the notch pretty deep and still had to angle the shocks in quite a bit to not rub at full articulation...with 315's.

Yep, you're definitely going to want to tuck them as much as possible. I have 2" spacers, no notch in the frame, 35's, and I rub when I fully articulate the axle.

I'm going to have to commit a pretty serious sin and put some mud flaps on the truck. Pretty much every offroad vehicle out here I see has those "I got a fix it ticket, so I real quick put these huge ass mud flaps on to get it signed off on".

Figure I should get ahead of that and do something less obnoxious and quick detach. Will probably end up running a tube around the rear fender well, as an extension of the rock sliders, to give some coverage of the top of the wheel.

You can switch out your upper UCAs in a few hours from start to finish. The delrin bushings are in stock at TC.

I've found that a little rubbing doesn't hurt them. I've been that way for two years with no ill effects.

Granted, if you're slamming the tire in there, but mine only rub if I throw it on a flex ramp or happen to hit that section of trail that just perfect flexes the truck out.

I'm 5 lug, and TC only makes the lowers for my kit, and only because they are the same as the 6 lug kit. So they sent me the lowers (nylatron/delrin) and 1 poly upper so i can have a set made.. I even asked them if they'd make me a set, and giving me the poly as a template was the best they could do for me.

You have the lathe? You wanna give it a go at making a set? I have a brand new poly upper as a template.

TC technically doesnt use Delrin, they use Nylatron which supposedly has a little bit different properies when it comes to lubrication, expansion, and moisture absorption.

TC recommended i have them made from nylatron. When i was researching, the price for stock was similar.

Haha. I think the process to have a set made it the same. If not, I'll just use delrin.

Everybody around me has some outrageous shop minimum or some weird tooling fee.

Yea it's not hard to make bushings out of delrin, there's no magic to it.
    Nylatron isn't cheap
Basically the same as delrin but is impregnated with moly grease basically

Easier to make delrin bushings, then use moly grease if it makes you feel better, it would be cheaper

Im not opposed to just running delrin. I just want to get rid of the squeaky crumbling poly.
Everybody seems to use delrin with success. TC even said i need to lube their nylatron with moly lube/superlube.

If your interested in making me a set in delrin, I'll shoot you a pm for the details.

You are a Prerunner still correct? Are you going to convert to a 4x4? If you are are rubbing tubes bouncing straight up and down just wait until you flex it out...it will get much worse. My tires use to kiss the tire going through whoops and normal desert stuff, but if I ever tried to articulate they would hit bad. Now at full articulation I'm still 1/2 away from touching.

Soo this is a bs question but would it be bad if I had like a old set of 31s and 33's that I'm gunna throw on sum rims and run as rear thrasher sets, my question is it bad to run like 31's in the back and still have 33's in front? Drivetrain wise is it a nono? It's just for tire rape driving
