I just got the OE style Tacoma/Tundra bed lights for the same reason. As soon as I can use my left arm again, I'll be putting them in. I do like the F150's switch more than the switch I picked though...

Man, running those wires along the driver side was a pita. A wire clothes hanger will be your best friend haha.

Those aren't sliders at all. Please don't try using them as such, you might be disappointed with the results.

Recently purchased an 11 TRD Sport. Went out this morning and dipped the emblems all around.. Black on Barc Red looks Sweet.. Then, because I had the stuff laying around, I hooked her up with the anytime-on Fogs mod... Perfect for entering the rainy season here!

I picked up some rubber adhesive diamond plate-style grip pads from Harbor Freight for $3 each. I'm planing on running stainless steel screws threw the same screw holes. Depending on the gaps, I may spray some of that thicker rubber coating on it just to give it some more texture and hold down the edges.

I should be able to get the pads and rubber coating on this evening, but may not get them mounted until tomorrow. Here's the link to the grip pad:

Went and got a new set of OEM lights yesterday per TSB and swapped them out for my black Depo's today. I see a retofit in my near future.

Spent 2.5 hours last night in the cramped spaces under my truck.

Lots of bad language doing a two man job by myself....

Now I have a horrible exhaust rattle against one of the skid plates. Even with the 1.25" spacer provided to miss the exhaust cross over.

The quality of the skid plates from RCI seems great. Their instructions not so much.

Also definitely lost a bit of ground clearance.

I can definitely find something like that at home depot or one of the safety supply stores in the area. Way better idea. Just a heads up, you can totally get black oxide screws at fastenal. Thats how i did my wheel protectors that i bought with the wheels. Came with chrome, brought the screws in and replaced em all with black oxide

Nice! I'll look into that if I don't end up spraying them down. Hate to get nice screws just to cover them up.

Tried to set a speed record last night swapping out my driver side UCA. I managed to do it in an hour from start to finish. Was pretty pleased with myself, but even more pleased with my new Camburg ball joint UCA's. :yay:
