ok here we go. It's that time and I'm looking at stock. No lift. Will the 265/70/r17 in this tire fit without any cutting or rubbing. I just want a good riding tire that I can get off road with while hunting. And who has the best deal?

i rubbed just a tad at full lock in reverse with that size tire (except i was on a 16" wheel). i have the KO2s now and have loved them thus far. i had AT3 before and surprisingly enough feel like the KO2 is a little softer ride, may just be crazy though. i prefer discount tire mainly because for a like 30 bucks a tire if i damage it beyond repair off road they will replace it for free.

just note the K02's are only coming in the Load range E .... which is a very heavy tire for our trucks.

I just bought them in load range C in that size.

Wet road traction is really bad.

On the 17" 265/70R17 wheel they are also available in C. Just not for the 16" size.

    Pics pre lift here:

In my experience they do well in the rain, and I'm in the Seattle area. Their factory siping is some of the most aggressive factory siping I have seen.

I have them on a '15 4Runner, which should have inherently better rear wheel traction than the Tacoma. Wet road traction in back is horrendous.

yup you are right, you can now get them in a 265/70R17 in a C, this was not the case not long ago.... still no 265/75R16 in a C.

Traction in the rain wasn't great for the first 300 miles...but now it takes some effort to break them loose

I'm about a thousand miles in. If it ever rains around here again, I'll report back.
