I've had 2 quotes at $1k under MSRP. One for a TRDOR 4x4 DCLB with tow package, the second a TRDOR 4x4 DCLB with tow, tech+JBL.

So, I need to decide between long bed or tech+JBL. The long bed option is $1,500 cheaper as well...

Is that with TTL? seems a bit high. My SR5 with appearence package, tow, predator bars, and floor matts came out to $31,358 before TTL

I also have a TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 on order for $1k under MSRP from McGeorge Toyota in Richmond, Va. Now I just have to sit and wait patiently.

$32000+Tax for DCSB Offroad w/ Tow Package. Tried to get the dealer off charging for the tow package and floor mats, didn't see TDA but I assume it was worked into the admin fee ($~350) and of course the dest fee they wouldn't touch. I know I couldve worked it down a little more but I wrecked by car on Sunday and this was the only manual coming to Long Island without special order. Need a car sooner than later.

Absolutely, I'd be loony to spend 32000 on a manual truck in 4x2, especially in the NY metro area. They haven't figured out when to deploy snow plows.

UPDATE: Toyota of Orange called me today to see how everything was and I said that I am just waiting for them to drop the price a few thousand. They deny quoting me $500 off MSRP... I told them I wasn't going to bother arguing over $500 off MSRP, because I was thinking more around invoice and we were too far apart. They asked me if I was okay with meeting in the middle, I told them to send me their offer via email, he said he would send it, but of course it never came.

Just checked, not there. I'm fortunate enough to have a vehicle that is paid off, and I don't NEED a Tacoma. I simply want one, and I'm willing to wait. Which appears I will be doing at this rate, lol.

Go to the dealership and walk out back to find the employee smoking section. You'll get your answer from them

I live close enough to do this and not waste much time. But I've already been there 3x this week, and I think they are getting the wrong idea about me.

Tell them if they come close enough to invoice, they'll have a second buyer (me). I'll try the same with the girl at Elmore in HB that I have been texting with.
