    As stated by the picture taker on the day of the assholery they weren't. The asshole offense is on a case by case satatus. Bike spots are full not an asshole. Bike spot's open asshole and no more hypothetical assholeries. I am out:facepalm:

    BY LAW it is not illegal for a motorcycle to park in a standard parking lot space.

    It is a ticketable offense. Traffic police don't normally ticket it, but cities with a parking enforcement division do. The owner of an establishment may also have illegally parked customers towed, but they often don't because they don't want to lose business. In some cities, tow truck drivers are allowed to tow illegally parked cars, though this is rapidly becoming unpopular and the statutes are rescinded.

    Still doesn't make a motorcycle parked within the confines of a regular parking space an asshole. There's a reason they're called heavy bikes.
