    Does anyone know if I need a high lift jack with my 2015 if i have a 2 inch lift ? Just to do a basic tire swap .

    I don't think you would. But what would you use on your truck to use the jack with? Some bumpers and sliders are meant for them. Our trucks as they sit have no contact points to use them.

    Unless you are adding plate bumpers and rock sliders there is no where on a stock tacoma to use one.

    Negative. I have ~2" lift and my floor jack works just fine.

    Stock jack will too. All you're looking at is maybe at most a 1" difference from the tires to the axle.

    Those jacks are just so dangerous unless you really know what your doing. I'm afraid of them.

    That's what I have. I take a Jack stand on long trips and on off road excursions. I've test ran the lift in my driveway and can swap out a flat quicker with the hi-lift than the crappy OEM tools provided. And, that's with a clear cab; once, in the field it'a PIA getting the OEM jack out of the truck as I have to clear everything from the seat and floor board. I also bought an extra spare I carry in the bed to speed things up. I've only had a flat in the field once, and I was able to plug it. So, get a good plug kit and you may avoid having to replace the tire all together.
