If need be, I can give you some info for a dog rescue group in your area. My fiance's aunt is part of this group and they have pretty strict adoption terms - they make sure the dog will fit with the potential adopter and that the home is able to handle a dog (both in terms of the family structure, how much time the adults have at home during the day, and things like the fence isn't falling apart and would let the dog escape the yard).

He's a beaut. Wish I was able to take him myself. :anonymous:

Has he been neutered yet? Shots? We've been thinking about getting my female pit/lab mix a male companion, I sent the lady a picture already. She wants a senior rescue, but had been warming up to the puppy idea.

Thank you sir! I have filled out few rescues for adoptions.

He hasn't been neutered yet. I have gotten his shots/deworming. But he will need to go back in to finish them off. for bordatella and rabies. as he isn't old enough yet.
Just let me know he is really good for car rides. a little fussy at first but once you get moving he either sleeps or enjoys the ride.

    No cats.
Dogs not many. When he does encounter them he is just more curious. regular butt sniffs.
my neighbor has a crazy dog that barks all day behind the fence and he barks back occasionally until I either calm him down, feed him or play with him.

I took him on the lost coast expedition this past weekend and he did really well. Just hugged up on my fiance the whole ride there.

He snores like a big dog. I can send you a video if that might be an issue.

Dude, your landlord sucks and you should move! Best way to ensure your pup gets a loving home is sticking with him

It likely has less to do with landlord opinion and more to do with insurance reasons.

    It does to the landlord?

Let's not take a thread trying to find a home and turn it into a "you should tell the landlord to fuck off and move" or "your landlord should tell his insurance to fuck off and move."

It is what it is, the why doesn't matter.

Agreed. My point was more in trying to convince OP to stick with his pup than rag on a landlord who's policies were likely in place long before OP got his pup.
Shelters are already overwhelmed with pitts that need new homes... With that said, I'm done. Not trying to threadjack or break off an argument.
