Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

I find the best size for the trails I like to do was my bashed up 81. If it looked like a qaud could fit. So could that 81!

No lube just apply some pressure and ram it in.

While I love my Tacoma, nothing beats a mini truck, zuk etc.

For me a full size would never wheel. I have a hard enough time getting to the places I find to get the 81 stuck to pull it out.

So I'm about ready to order my next round of mods.
    Headers/ypipe
Trying to figure out what way I want to go.
JBA shorties or UDR long tube.

I would go thorley long tube, URD mid pipe, urd sensor sim, no cats. I have the turd catback so probably stick with it, but I want a spintech muffler.

Have had a thorley header in the past and it was nice. Jba I have heard are not as well made, something a little better but similar to OBX junk in that it looks like the real deal, only made cheaper

Yeah, not a chance where I go. My truck sees about 80% off road, lot of rock and riverbed, shelf roads, etc.

At least the 4.0 sounds better than the 3.4

But yes, v6 sounds in general aren't pretty.

I don't mind my catback Flowmaster exhaust, but then again I was aware of what engine was in front of it to begin with. If you want pretty V8/V10/V12 sounds as you drive, go buy one of those plug in things from WalMart.

Thanks for everyone who chimed in re: regretting supercharger install.

Another question, seems like a lot of you gents are running sc with the 6sp gearbox. Anyone running them with the slushbox? Can you share your experience if you are? My previous vehicles had always been manual. This is my first slushbox if you will. Yes I am still comtemplating if I should get a sc or not.

Still second gen! Nothing changed worth noting, if anything its 2.3..

    2009 2.1
    2011 2.2
    2012 2.3

    But thats stupid.

    Nope. Still 2nd gen.

I have an A5. Love my slushbox. I have a suggestion for you which will wake up the vehicle and it will cost you nothing but your time. :)

Far more slushbox guys have supercharger.

The a750 is actually very good, no worries with the supercharger for reliability.

If you leaning one way do that and don't look back. I really think this is how the truck should have run stock! Its no race car, but its decently quick. Passing power is there now.
