He FB messaged me the other day. Been busy with stuff he said. Wants to get out and wheel before there is too much snow. If time permits I might catch up with him this weekend.

What sliders do I need? I want something that I can still use as a bit of a step for the shorter folks in my life. I have an access cab (the more bad ass version of our trucks of course) and I'm not as well versed on sliders.

Ost I would highly highly recommend BAMF especially if you are looking for weld-on. Very reasonably priced, extremely stout, and also do provide a step. I wish I had got the filler plates however.

On a basic level, because I hate when my foot slips through the huge gap in the sliders.

But more because I think they provide more strength as well as they protect your paint more from rock chips and debris getting on the side of the truck.

Maybe someday. I don't know if I'm going to be able to get up this season before the weather gets bad but I'm getting it ready for when I do.

I think those with the filler plate are the ones I liked the look of. They got good reviews by people & didn't cost a fortune as I recall. I may have to order some up and replace the N-Fabs.

Yeah but the thing is Phil, my BAMF were significantly less than RCI, even with shipping. Still less after professional install.

Also, I don't think there is more quality sliders on the market unless you go full custom like Phil did

ah, didn't realize that BAMF were that cheap even with shipping involved.

BAMF with filler plate come in at $420

RCI come in at $600 with filler plates

So your BAMF sliders were $330 shipped w/o filler plates then?

Is that $600 RCI before 40% off then making then about $360ish before tax & such?
