    ok, total rookie question. I have a set of ICON UCA's installed. I want to grease the zerks. I was taught as a kid that you pump the grease in until it starts oozing out. The directions on the gun say not to put too much grease in or you'll blow the seals out. Anyone?

    Johnny. Jack up front end, Loosen long UCA bolt, pump grease in zerks, tighten bolt, wipe off excess grease. Have a beer.

    What happens if I just grease it where it sits? No jacking it up and no loosen the bolt. Just trying to learn. Not questioning your knowledge. Oh , and what if I have a beer first?

    The grease won't spread evenly. And you won't be able to pump much in there.

    Greasing the UCA's makes a difference... :(

    Shop that installed my OME lift with LR UCA's apparently didn't grease the bushings right. It began squeaking up a storm. Stopped in to see them and they sprayed them down with lube. Two weeks later squeak was coming back. They called manufacturer and asked me to drop the truck off for a day. Tore it apart, reassembled and greased, now I'm pretty sure it actually feels smoother over bumps. Not as "stiff" as it was before.

    No prob. I grease mine every oil change. I also have icon UCAs.

    I see. My UCA's came from Headstrong Offroad this summer (2015). So hopefully I'm good to go on the bushings/washers. I'm hoping since the shop actually called SPC to discuss all is well this second time around. The shop is quite reputable - though they admitted during first install they'd never seen the LR UCA's before.

    They've had the truck in their shop twice since my original install and have not charged me a dime. :) They've been very easy to work with. Even pick me up after work so I can pick up my truck.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
    I use Superlube on my TC UCA's. Seems to be one of the most recommended for poly bushings
