You could also have it metered again, maybe that cops meter battery is low and is making it darker than it actually is.

its $287 per window including the small windows or corning windows on cars as well. so a car could actually rack up over 2k in illegal tint tickets if they had blacked out tint.

for safety check its -/+ 6%


i would argue the calibration on the tint meter the officer was using. as a inspector i used to go through tint meters every 3 months since they would go out of calibration and if they were using a certain model they would need to be calibrated so often. the last meter i had was self calibrating so it was always spot on.

 

Is AIR 80 the only legal tint that can be put on the windshield?

Just curious cause I got it on my windshield. Pretty much unnoticeable, but it does block heat. Brightness wise, nope.

 

Got my fuel line from orielys. Used about 9ft to the back of the taillight. Tubing was 5/16.

 

How much tnt charges

 

TnT wouldn't install it on my truck but went to Al's tinting to have it installed. Went to get safety check today and my windshield read 66%. But they passed me but said I need to get documentation from the installer saying its 70%. They should give a plus or minus of 2% leeway due to calibration of the meters.
