I really like the idea and concept of the bed tent, but I just can't get passed the idea of having to unload the truck be every time I need to set up camp. Plus, I want to be able to secure my stuff so a hardcover tonneau is preferred. I know it will mostly fold out of the way if I'm using a trifecta or similar style, but then I have to take the tent down to re-secure after camping. Just my opinion. I do like those hardcover truck caps with the tent built into the top. $$$$ though!

I agree with this. Just cause he had a bad experience with someone with no mudflaps doesnt mean it will happen to everyone, hell i get peppered by semis all the time, it comes with the territory. And as for me not having flps, if there able to keep up with me its there fault for being so close. 1 car length per every 10 mph. If all people followed this rule they wouldnt be bitching about rocks in there windsheild nearly as much. Lol

Furthermore toyotas seem to be the only vehicles that have flaps stock, so if a ford chevy or dodge threw a rock at his windsheild would he still bitch?

Only reason I still keep my factory over-sized mudflaps on is to protect my own paint. Nothing looks worse than driving up next to a Tacoma on the interstate and you see that unnecessarily long front mudflap folded backwards and flapping in the breeze. Looks ridiculous, but they do protect the fenders and rockers from your own tires.

Yeah, one of the reasons I'm glad Toyota put the all-plastic front end on them. At least it won't rust through.

FYI, I don't know how much tread you have left on your BFGs, but I had about 10k miles left on mine and sold all four for $100 on Craig's List in 12 hours. Probably could've gotten more, but I don't care. I got money for them, didn't have to pay the "disposal fee", and helped someone else out.

I wish I had some tread left on them. They were so bad. 53k miles on them. No disposal fee though.
