States that Actually Have 3rd gen in stock

My commute takes me past the Maplewood, MN dealer and I've been scanning the lot waiting to see one. Today I saw the first one there and the first one I've seen in person. Access cab in white. According to their website it's a 4cyl 4WD SR5. I didn't stop but I have to say it looked pretty damn cool. My impression is that by taking in the whole thing from a distance it's not bad, certainly a better impression than the photos of the front from right in front. I'll be able to live with a 2025 in this design if that's how they look, god willing that's the soonest I'll be truck shopping again.

 

4 cylinder and 4wd just don't go together. Why would they even make those.

I tried to buy my wife's Prius there. Worst dealership experience ever. A different sales manager called me the next day to apologize and said they would accept my terms without question. I only wanted my deposit back if the vehicle showed up and I found it unacceptable (build quality, like panels not aligning), not exactly the trim I was expecting, e.g. Funny part was they said, "These were selling so well, we couldn't keep them in stock." So I asked, "then you shouldn't care if I don't buy it." I bought the car the next day from another local dealer, same terms and better price.

 

Ft Wayne Toyota in Indiana got a white 4x4 access cab, 4cyl, automatic last night

 

Auburn, al. Some folks have said this already, but pictures really don't do it justice. This is a great-looking truck. MSRP on this one is 37k.

 

Why do they even put a 4 banger in the Tacoma? The 4 banger is a crappy engine with much less power and crummy MPGs

 

Its actually fairly popular here in the Northeast. Plus Im sure its for emissions regulations. Every year they have to get cleaner and better MPGs. The 4cyl trucks are built just for numbers
