2nd and 3rd gen problems. Over sized tires with narrow offset wheels will hit the stock skid plate at times.

Did you get in on that 20% off sale on the 96" ones they're doing? Looks like they're $280 currently before shipping and the filler plates are nearly the same price at $275. Yikes!

No idea. I thought someone mentioned that earlier. I didn't look into it yet.

96" is DCLB only. I know you're overconfident and all, but what you need are the 80" sliders :D

    Found it....

I just misread what he was saying in this post. No 40% off sale or discount was implied.

    This post however...

...interests me. How were you able to find BAMF sliders w/filler plate for $420? The best deal I found (20% off of the sliders for $280 and $275 for the filler plate option) was a lot higher than that. I'm guessing you weren't pricing the 96" ones which is what I think my access cab would require?

Oh, that's where I think I was screwing up. It would be a lot more clear to the average jabroni if they put model of truck rather than lengths. I thought I knew which one mine took based on N-Fab shopping/research and I was wrong. Let me reevaluate...

80" is still probably to long for your access cab, just go to RCI and they will help ya out ha ha ha

80" is the right size for both DCSB and AC.

That being said, I wouldn't recommend BAMF after my experiences and several other members experiences. My sliders are stout and have held up nicely, but there's too much sloppy work and lack of QC on his part for me to recommend them.

I've been very happy with my RCI sliders and front skid. Quality build.

I'd love to use RCI since they're local but there's no way I'm spending $600 on sliders. I'll contact them to make sure that's the best they can do but if it is I'm not ready to invest $600 in sliders.

Are you pricing bolt on vs weld on?

I would assume weld-on are less expensive (less steps during manufacturing) and probably stouter once installed but it sounds like the bolt-on variants have come a long ways and are pretty sturdy if properly installed. I'm not beholden to either at this point but prefer the best deal I can find on a quality product that I can also use as a step for the shorter peeps in my life since I own a gigantic lifted Tacoma. lol

get ready to spend at least $500 for any option, bolt on is usually a bit more expensive from the fabricator, weld on is cheaper but you gotta pay someone to weld them on so id plan on at least $100 for that job. With shipping and installation of BAMF you will be easily into the $500 range if not more.

you could get a set of SLEE bolt ons :D

there is a set of Shockwerks sliders on CL right now but for a 1st gen, maybe you could make them fit?

I paid 210 for mine from bamf, had had shipped Evan the wrong set and instead of having evan ship them back he cut me a huge deal. I paid 100 to get them welded on. Haven't seen any other way to get a set on a truck for that price

If I was paying retail and had my choice I would do bolt on and be ready to spend 600 all said and done
