Are their any Gen 3 tacomas in SLC, UT? Just to see if the unicorn exists.

I live around the corner from Mark Miller Toyota, so I usually drive by (or through) there once every couple days or so. I saw a delivery truck today so I drove through and saw 5 or 6 on the lot. They were taking pictures of a MGM sport...looked pretty cool. Most were sports (2 white and 1 black) but I did see a white OR that looked pretty sweet. Didn't ask if they were sold or not, but they are there if you want to take a look.

NP, I like the guys there, I just don't like the prices at any of the dealers on the Wasatch Front. Has anyone been able to talk them down from MSRP yet? I'm heading out to Denver this week to pick one up. I got a great price, and happened to be going out for the Great American Beer Festival this week anyway, so it all worked out for me, but I'm kinda disappointed with the dealers around here not willing to negotiate.

 

Man I should have looked into doing that. Could have paid family a visit and everything. I could not get them to negotiate off MSRP on my own, I am using Costco. It's anywhere from $400-$1000 over invoice. Get final confirmation once the truck arrives.

 

That's awesome, I didn't know anyone was doing costco deals yet. I was told they wouldn't be doing them for a while. Do you mind if I asked who you are going through?

Just bought my 2016 TRD sport from Mark Miller. I can give you the guys info, he was awesome to work with. They got a truck load in while I was there today.

 

I think I saw them taking those pictures while I was there today. Congrats! That's a great looking truck.

Just happened to be there at the right time. While I was there, a few more came in. They have more than I expected now. All in back, out of view.

 

Man you lucked out. I don't know how it didn't end up being mine since the dealers could steal unassigned trucks that were coming in and supossidly mine was the earliest gray double cab short bed JBL coming in.

 

I will probably be back down there tomorrow (Gotta drop off my spare key for trade in) I'll post some pics of what they have now.

They've been firm at MSRP with me here, going to take @dontstealmyride advice and see how the Costco route works. Feel like if I went to Colorado to pick up a truck, I would blow the savings on the local intoxicants.

What boilermaker local are you? Father was 182 back when.

 

@mbcorry do you mind sharing what the final price was after taxes and registration?
I assume it's a TRD sport double cab JBL premium with the bed cover?
Mine is similar and curious what I should expect.
My dealer told me it will be $39,500 and change out the door including taxes, fees and registration.
