I hear this thread likes to talk about hydrocarbon moving pressure makers?

Just to add to your post.

I am 90% sure our 5 speed auto goes in some of the hilux. The vent hose on top and the label is the only difference.

Oh yeah. Also, If you are going for just a stock replacement, the Excedy brand OEM clutch replacement is very good. They also have higher torque levels as well.

Yes, the auto is both here and there.

The R series manual is on to different markets. To be more clear.

Every car I've owned has been a stick, two of my current cars are sticks (Acura TL and BMW 135i) both of these cars are enjoyable to drive because they are manuals and both Honda and BMW know how to make a smooth accurate gearbox. That said, I never enjoyed driving the manual version of the Tacoma (1st gen or 2nd gen), so I chose the auto for my truck, and find it more enjoyable than the manual version. The 2nd gen manual transmission IMHO isn't very good from a users standpoint, long throws, and overall sloppiness not awesome when compared to a close ratio alternative. Why are we talking about transmissions on this thread.... ;)

My wife makes peak torque only at high rpms, I wonder if a good pump would help?

Has anybody had any issues with the 2.85" pulley? That mod scares me lot.

Never been a fan of having a ECR over 12:1. Stock the SC is at 11.867:1

Might install the lower pulley if nobody here has had problems with it.

The AFR I am sure is great. Running above 12:1 even with good AFR can lead to big problems.

Ford Eco boost 2.7 L engines run 29 PSI regularly. Wouldn't max charge depend on the design of the engine rather than a fixed number?
