Tint the windows on the MGM and it would look dialed!

They are my favorite rims out of all of them offered. Regardless of trim.

A black SR Access cab 2.7L 5spd 4x4 with the black alloys would be perfect for me. I like my Frontier too much to bother. Maybe in 5 years.

After reading this thread I was ready to trade off my 2015 Tacoma for a 2016 Tacoma SR in Inferno with the black alloy wheels. I just got off the phone with the dealer and I can't get a SR in Inferno. Oh well, plan to keep the 2015.

SR looks better (to me) than the higher trim levels. Is there any function at all to the flares slapped onto the higher trims? Nicer grille, color matched front to rear.

SR with the Convenience package is better equipped than my 2012 SR5 AC 4.0 6MT with tow package ($27,432 base price).

    Looking at this chart:

    7162 - SR ACCESS CAB 4X2 4-CYL AUTO LB - $ 21844 | $ 23300
    7186 - SR DOUBLE CAB 4X2 4-CYL. AUTO - $ 22355 | $ 24130
    7513 - SR ACCESS CAB 4X4 4-CYL. M/T LB - $ 23274 | $ 24825
    7514 - SR ACCESS CAB 4X4 4-CYL AUTO LB - $ 24728 | $ 26375
    7594 - SR DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 AUTO - $ 26786 | $ 28915

7594 (which I would like), it would be about $29,000 base with SR Convenience Package and tow package. That's not bad at all.

It's the 2012 SR5, but more. You get locking tailgate and glovebox, cargo lamp, LCD dash display and head unit. Heated mirrors, quieter cabin, better MPG's.

And a steak dinner if you can find any driveline vibrations.

I'm looking forward to the pics and review. Which SR model did you get?

SR is a great value, even better with those optional black alloys. Make mine 6MT, oh wait you gotta step up to TRD to get 6MT these days...Nevermind.

One thing I still don't understand is why don't they offer a V6 for the SR AC.
The SR is supposed to be more of a work truck. Most work trucks end up towing a trailer at some point so the extra power would come in handy.

Right, but I'm talking about business work trucks that companies buy. Most companies wouldn't step up to a SR5 for a company vehicle.

I said they end up towing a trailer at some point, not all the time. But occasionally.

The bums don't offer anything but packages. Sure would be nice to have pick and choose.
