Oh shit ... Weesa was so right like I said, and apparently it's gender based ... Nothing to do with left or right handed. I need another coffee.

Didn't know there was a lefty thread, nice....

When I was in elementary school teachers tried to make leftys write with a right handers slant & for me it failed miserably , my hand writing is horrible with both left & right hand slants, my wife who is also left handed but 7 years younger writes beautifully because she was allowed to write in a manner that was comfortable to her.... I think we all had the green handled scissors tho'...

    Don't forget Madison Bumgarner!

I was originally lefty, but between my first grade teacher telling me that the devil was left handed with curly hair and breaking my left several times, I learned to do everything pretty much equally with my right. So I'm a learned ambidextrous.

The other day in physics we went to the football field to throw a boomerang. Only problem was it was right hand only so I didn't get to through it. :pout:

I am left handed. My mother, father, and paternal grandmother and grand father are also. However, my grandmother was forced to write right handed in school.

I was once on a youth 12-14 y.o. baseball team with a kid who just started playing sports. So he of course didn't have any of the fundamentals and was poor at throwing and batting and was slowing getting better early in the season. His mother and father were right handed and so he did everything right handed. I forget exactly how it happened, but for reason he threw the ball from the outfield during practice with his left hand and it was SO much better and precise. We all stopped and the coached said "Son! You're left handed!" Since his mother already bought his a right hander's glove he'd catch the ball with his left gloved hand, throw the glove off his hand, then throw the ball with his left hand. Beside that delay in the process, he was much better player after that.
