So I just got a quote from a tire place in Concord. I want to order four 265/70/17 BFG AT KO2s, mounted on the new rims with the TPMS sensors switched from the stock tires to the new tires. They quoted over $1,200, which seemed high to me given the cost of the tires.

I understand you have to pay to play, but does this sound reasonable??? Doesn't to me. If anyone knows of any local places they'd recommend, I'm all ears.

Haha yeah it can be deceiving. I'm staying with my dad and his girlfriend and had to let them know it was alcoholic as they are both sober. My dad loves root beer and didn't want him accidentally drinking one not knowing it was alcoholic.

That seems really high to me. Mount and balance should only be $60-100 at most. Too bad you missed the discount tire sale where you could get $200 off. I would order from discount tire direct, have them delivered to your house then bring them in. No sales tax and will be a lot cheaper. You can get them for $880 to your door. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...c=29047&tmn=All-Terrain+T/A+KO2&typ=Truck/SUV

Might be kind of far for you but I went to Tire and Wheel Mart in Mountain View (http://www.tireandwheelmartca.mcjr.net/index.htm) when I picked up my Toyo Open Country AT2s in 285/75/16. Was $947 OTD (tpms sensors removed from stock tires and installed on new SCS wheels, tires installed, balanced, alignment, and "lifetime" warranty on the tires). Might have been able to find the tires cheaper online or if I looked around harder but I thought it was a good price installed and they had it ready for install the next day. I'd give them a call and see what they can quote you for the KO2s.

So I unsubbed from about 150 threads yesterday. TW isn't so bad....as long as you stay off the main page, off topic, 3rd gen section, 2nd gen section, suspension section, and anything even remotely geographically close to the south or east.

LOL, I wish, but big thanks to everyone that has supported SCS. It truly means a lot to me when the local guys are supporting local businesses.

Here's a better shot in the sun. Hard to capture the color in a picture, but it should pop when it's on the truck!
