^^Eggszachary! :) Don't plan to go 4x4 anytime soon, but yes I was talking about full articulation/flex. I don't rub up and down at all, got a good inch there. Ill have to get those 2" spacers for sure tho

Are you going to keep your shocks inboard or outboard of the frame? When I go to a 9" axle I am going to go outside of the frame so I need a wider axle than if I stayed inside the frame. If you go outside the frame you also need to decide if your going to run 2.5" or 3" rear shocks in the long term build of your truck so you can take that into account. Make those decisions and then get to measuring.

mine backed out and the tech installed them the wrong way so they destroyed the back of my wheel.

Already have 2.5 triple bypass kings and want to go outboard. I've heard it is better to go outboard, but it seems like tons more work. Is it really worth it. I know jberry813 runs inboard fine but his was already caged that way.

I have everything but the axle......

Its personal preference and there is nothing wrong with keeping them inside the frame rails. Our old Class 7s 1st gen Tacoma race truck was plenty fast and the shocks were inboard of the frame. I brought it up for you to consider since your getting that axle made to your specs.

Doesnt running them outboard improve handling and stability? Especially if he's getting a wider axle what would be the benefits of running them inboard? Genuinely curious, I'm always looking to learn more

Yes, it improves, I am not sure to what extent. If I ran them inboard I would keep the stock axle to simplify things. Swapping different axles is daunting for someone who has never done it (at least to me). If I've gone this far, I'm running them outboard.
