Was curious if anyone whose picked up their new ride has any feedback on the wireless charging in the 3rd gens? More specifically on using it with an iPhone - I'm hoping it's big enough to completely fit the bigger 6+ in the charging area..

I haven't used it and probably won't but it will fit a 6+.

I have sat in one. The space should be big enough. The iphone, to my knowledge, does not support wireless charging unless you buy an adapter.

No, the 6+ does not have wireless charging...

To my knowledge, no iPhone has wireless charging

its just a copper coil and a rectifier. Certainly do not need to buy that one.

Edit: I have a nexus 5 and I can also confirm that wireless charging is really great. Bought this last year.

True, but this looks sexier since there is no cord and it just happens via magic

o_O What? No you don't. It fits inside a case and you charge wirelessly from that point forward (you'd use a charging pad for charging outside of the truck)...

Then you're at your mate's house and don't have your charging pad

Then you plug that thing in the wall like a Neanderthal. Most wireless chargers allow you to charge either through the pad or a USB cable. But if you didn't think that far in advance you'll just have to borrow your mate's phone.

Can we clarify something? I have a Samsung Android. Do I need to buy a wireless charging receiving that plugs into the phone to use the QI charging, or can I simply set the phone on top of the pad inside the truck to charge it?
