    Correct. They just come in different lengths. Exact same shock otherwise valving wise. Some other small things different. But they can be the same length or longer. Even shorter.

    Hmm interesting. But the guy I bought the shocks from had these so we will see what will happen when I have her flexed out.

    OEM parking bulbs are 194 or 168.

    If you go here you will see most all the bulbs for the first gen tacoma.

    I actually just ended up going with VLED 194 bulbs for the front corners and the rear license plate lights. All my other LED attempts have burned out.

    Mocking up install on the Total Chaos shock mounts. They bolt on using the lower 2 bolts on the cross member (hidden) and then get welded on.

    Don't forget to grind down the frame to expose it before you weld.

    Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
    LT or SAS?... that is the question...

    I'm planning for the future and have been doing a lot of reading. For the offroading I do I think SAS would be better but LT might be better since I use my truck as a DD. I also want to be able to fit 35"s. I do more crawling and just because of where i live i end up in mud a lot. I'm just curious about what other's on here have experienced.

    Shocks going to be angled forward quite a bit it seems. How long of a shock you going to run?

    LT isn't going to make fitting 35s any easier. a bit. But not much. You'll still have to tub a bit just not as much.

    If its your DD. Id wait till you can make it not your DD before doing either. Keep wheeling it and the more you drive the more you'll figure out what you'll want.

    I am going to measure again but I checked tonight and at full compression I am at like 22 inches from upper to lower shock bolts. I might be 24" depending on shape of new springs and how much the Timbrens will compress. I'm hoping it will all fit with enough space between the Timbren and frame bump stop.

    At full droop I am at about 26" with stock springs and shackles (They don't move much it seems). With shackles and springs I am thinking I will droop another couple of inches.

    In other words the ADS 10" shocks are 20" to 29.5" and it looks like that is what I need. I might step up a size if I need to. I guess 12" is next.

    Im guessing your cycling with just a jack and not actually flexing out the truck? Because you have more then 4'' of travel..haha even stock. It'll compress more with the truck flexed out and droop more. Id stick with the 10''.

    I'm afraid I will have to go to a 12" on my setup, I think after the bumps compressed I will have the possibility of bottoming out the shock. I still need to flex it out to check everything, heck it may not even work all together if the tires rub the shocks bad.
