    I'm talking about Tacoma's, not race vehicles. And maybe some where there is an SAS Tacoma that tears up the desert, but in general...

    That's the only reason I'd buy it. I want something that will hold together if the ball joint does fail, and stops relying on four tiny bolts to hold the truck up

    Thought Toyota didn't sell bushings, just the arm. How do you press the original bushing out? Mine was molded to the arm.

    I realize the stock ones are beefy. I have hammered the shit out of mine as has anyone that wheels. But it could be improved. And some people want to buy one.

    So if you don't want them. Thats cool. If you do. Also cool.

    now everyone stfu and go about your damn business.

    I'd love to see something made of some sort.

    They sell the bushings but they are pretty expensive. OEM is actually different between front and rear and not molded to the arm. Many folks go with aftermarket to save some coin.

    Front and rear, marked F and R. They are dimensionally the same and identical outside of the two little rubber tabs seen on the rear bushing below. I suspect the durometer rating of the rubber may be different.

    How I do it? I have a write up on the removal. Ask the question in a new thread and I will dig it up. Doing some exploring tomorrow so it might not be till Sat unless I see it tonight.

    The lowers will be boxed and totally bolt in. The stock LBJ will simply install just like stock. Nick said after looking further at the trucks, the hydro bump plates probably are out but will retain stock bump mount points on the LCAs to run stock bumps or aftermarket rubber/foam ones.

    First 5 buyers would get priced at $1211.25 plus shipping. Sales in CA would have to include 8%sales tax.

    He would need a local truck in San Diego to go to the shop to be the test truck.

    I think its safe to say nothing like this will be under a grand.

    Pretty nice deal though for the 1st five guys. I have seen Nicks work first hand on a 2nd gen and its stellar! Im sure these would be great.

    i don't think there is the real state on a stock length arm for hydos.

    UPDATE:

    Trac Performance has replied. They are also interested. AND have offered to come up with a solution to run a unibal on the arm and keeping the stock steering. Plus having a version that isn't uniball and use the stock LBJ.


    Only major down side is Trac is a small shop, one man op, so it'll take a while to come up with something but he is interested.

    This is entirely possible. Fab shops are starting to do this for 2nd gens.
