"Dirty Fenders"

I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Access cab 4x4, silver in color with the black overlay on the fender, anyone know a good product to use to clean these? It should be noted, my truck is not a "poser" I use it and it gets dirty, but these fenders take on a ugly look when not cleaned. Thanks, Doc

 

Armor All after cleaned with soap and water.

 

yep armorall all the way it will just be slippery

 

Actually tire foam works well on that stuff

 

The usually car wash soap and water and then turtle wax ice to bring the black out real well.

God no to armorall...I hate that shit.
If you can't use soap and water with a little bit of ice like Jason said- Use Mothers Back to Black.

 

armorall sucks the natural oils out from the plastic, and overtime will dry and crack the plastic, dont use it!

 

I use wd-40 on the real hard stuff to clean off. Seems to do the trick

 

WD-40 tends to attract dirty and grime.....I wouldn't try to clean with it.

No issues attracting dirt and grime. Been doing this for over a year now. I don't have the black fenders like the o.p though just the colored matched ones...

 

It's a piece of plastic. Nothing "natural" about it.

 

after washing mine off I use tire foam or spray "wet tire" stuff on a rag to get them nice and black again

i was a long time user of armor all until i got a nasty crack in the dash of my old 300m... now i use this stuff and it's expensive but has worked good for me against the Arizona/desert sun so far!
