That is the price with everything I want. I'd like to get one OTD for sub $35k. Not having the tech package saves me a lot of $. I also put rubber floor matts in all of my cars because I mountain bike a lot and am often dirty/stinky when driving.

Mines around $34k. 4x4 DCLB SR5. I am going to forgo the Appearance package cause that sames me $850 which I could apply towards a nice bed cover. You hunt out there?

I grew up hunting, my family is big into it, but mountain biking tends to eat all of my time/money. I do a lot of camping in the sticks though. Probably will get a topper so I can sleep back there (why I want the long bed) when I don't want to pull my trailer.

I am not sure if I want to get a topper or a trifold or a rolling cover. I occasionally do small construction jobs and I have to have bed access for materials. I like that I could sleep in a topper but where would I put all my gear? It would be tight in there sleeping with rifles and coolers. lol

Most makers ask up front if you want to explore inventory or not. Seems odd Toyota forces you to explore inventory. Thanks for the tip on this. I had no idea.

    Grrrrrr

There were 900 yesterday so the dealers are obviously getting their shipments. Now if they would just get off their ass and take pictures.

A few of the dealers that have not responded to my e-mails two weeks ago, have now started e-mailing me. A good sign, but we still have a ways to go.

I have a topper on my 02. Love it for camping. I tend to pack light when I car camp. Plus the DC will have room for junk too.

Perhaps showing up and licking the truck so it is claimed via my scent. surely that overrides any of the fangled "contracts"

I imagine they have to modify the new toppers to fit the 2016 Tacomas because of the increased bed depth. Old ones might work, but may look funny. Tri-fold cover may work for you.

I am going to drive it like it is for awhile until product starts coming out. Used toppers are super cheap on Craigslist. I always thought about mounting a rack on top of the topper to put my kayaks on to, or to carry more gear with me.

I'd recommend a rack on the topper too. Comes in handy when I need to carry more junk like bikes. I had to drill into mine to install Yakima bars. Looks cool too I think. =)

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
They might have fixed the issues. I just went through and had no trouble building anything I wanted. All options seemed to be available as appropriate.

I still can't take the appearance package off the DCLB 4x4 SR5. Maybe I have no choice.

Edit: I think they are still missing stuff because there was no option to select the Second Tier Appearance Package, and I know that exists.
