Oh i did and I still am looking at the screw vs my tundra double cab. I had problems with my tacoma but wanted to give toyota another shot. There's a good chance I'll be in a 5.0 f150 maybe late next year. I still find myself looking at them haha

It seems like the Forester is more like an actual SUV and the Outback is more like a station wagon. I like the SUV look better personally.

parking garages and grocery stores. Forester probably has better angles.

The CVT took some getting used to.

oh, the automatic headlight sensor is on the dash, cleverly placed just far enough back that if you park, put your sun screen up, turn the car off, and leave the key in the ignition, the lights will stay on. And kill your battery.

Passing power was lacking in my 2.5. I'm sure the 3.6 makes up for that.

Funny thing is that Toyota adds a ton of options to the SR Tundra that the XL F150 doesn't have. Actually, you can even add just the locker to an XL truck and have a true base model offroad workhorse. So are you saying Tundra SR owners are super ghey for owning such frivolously optioned trucks?

You are wanting a grocery getter.. You don't need a truck. Rent one when you need to put stuff in the bed. You are the typical "truck" guy around here. Buy it and never use it.

LOL, sure buddy. I'm totally grocery getting right now as I'm soil sampling a field. I think you should bring your 2.7 L to work here. I'd love to bust your rear end with my soil sampler on my Ram right now :).

Generic comments like yours about fellow members here makes me laugh. I'd love to hear your views on gheys, modern life, and politics. I bet I can guess each one of those topics and how the conversation would go.

Apples to Oranges - F150 is full size..it's huge, hard to maneuver in everyday driving and is geared more towards a work truck...towing...hauling. Tacos are designed with off-road in mind, as well as maneuvering in every day traffic and parking...and can also do some towing and hauling..... bigger is not always better, just because they cost of a low-end full size is close to the same as a high-end midsize does not mean you are winning by buying the big one.

AWD Sienna is an awesome family car.

In my 2010 I take adults in the back around town and they have always said they are comfortable, would I recommend a 400 miles road trip for adults in the back probably not. Also I don't have wife or kids, I haul my dirt bike around and the small house stuff, furniture/appliance pick up, dump runs, yard work. I think the Tacoma is great even when I do have a family with kids. Also like you said when your kids are older you can always step up to a full size and at that time the resale of the Tacoma will be much better then the F150. Plus Tacoma is easier to park around town over an F150. I am not trying to persuade you, because I have never had a full size, but from what you said I believe a Tacoma would be a great fit. Also depending on the size of your garage a full size may not fit, my Tacoma double cab with short bed fits in my garage.

    • No moon roof--don't need Give you that one, but it is a value added thing.
    • No heated sliding rear window--dont need I live in Canada. It's a need. Try living here without one.
    • No heated front seats--still really dont need Nice on the back when out working. Keeps me going anyways.
    • Power/lumber on driver seat only, not for front passenger--don't need Needed. Some of us get married because we don't scare lady folk off.
    • No heated mirrors--dont need I live in Canada. It's a need. Try living here without one.
    • Manual spare tire release, lock extra. F150 is power controlled by the key.--dont need Stolen spares suck.
    • Locking tailgate? I don't even know, Toyota doesn't mention it. Going assume no on that as well.--meh okay could use that Great in airport parking, trust me on that
    • No LED lights in the bed--dont need with cab mounted lights LEDs are whiter, less squinting more working.
    • No "puddle" or courtesy lights in the mirrors--don't need Big advantage outdoors. I pack my truck up full with agronomy gear. If something falls out I don't want to break out a flashlight to find it
    • No mention of down hill assist control--learn how to drive
    • No mention of rear locker--with A trac you don't need it(proven between my friend's ford and my fathers tundra) LOL, do you even wheel bro? Locker over ATRAC all day everyday. Try using ATRAC on rocks or pure gravel. You'll break shit.

Okay, you used a hydraulic 4 foot depth sampler on a 1/4 ton then? I don't think so.

Do Tundras have ATRAC? I thought that was a Taco/4R thing? Pretty sure my 2011 Tundra TRD OR did not have ATRAC.
