What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

it's not that bad, you can get to it from the wheel well with the wheel removed. I did it in 20 mins or so on my old 98 2.4 and if I can do any work on my trucks.. anyone can.. cause im a doofus.

I'll have to look into it. The only bbq place I really go to is local to my small town. Called Joe's BBQ

 

Ah, just looked. It's native to Texas hill country, Austin, Georgetown, and corpus. But it's damn good.

 

Next time I visit my aunt and uncle in Georgetown I'll have to check it out

Tackled the fuel filter. Decided not to relocate it, since I won't be changing it again any time soon. What a pain the the ass.

 

Need your guys' help. Cigarette lighters aren't getting any power to the wires. Got the power on all the time mod and there's power at the relay location but nothing coming into the truck. All fuses check out fine... Am I missing something ?! Headin home to trace down the electrical diagram

 

Did you check the fuse in the engine bay?

 

Forgot I had an add a fuse with a fuse behind another... That was blown, everything works now

 

Damn clock burnt out I guess gonna do some snooping this weekend. Any tips (for those that use the clock ha)

 

Got my cigarette outlets fixed, and wired my train horn to my remote start fob

 

Took my truck for inspection, check engine light was on so I disconnected the battery in a parking lot a few miles away, they caught me red handed with the obd and I didn't pass lol, I already got a ticket for the out of date sticker now I got a nice big rejected sticker, I pass the cop that pulled me over all the time on the way to classes, so that'll be fun. then went out and got some of that rust oleum under coat stuff and sanded and sprayed a few spots of the frame, it seems like good stuff

 

If there was some way to retrofit one of these from the FJs that would be awesome.
