probably going off i70 for the quickness, going to shoot down 285 to deckers after that though

The pass itself is largely paved and even the unpaved sections are well-groomed. I did Geneva Creek recently (comes off of Guanella Pass closer to the 285 side) and it was a fun, relatively easy trail. There is also plenty of disbursed/primitive camping on the start of the trail. It does get quite cold at night, though.

^^ Recommend the creek trail vs main trail. Didn't have much water in it when Eric, Corey, and I ran it not too long ago, but still fun. Watch out for elk, they like to mean mug you :D

This is my first trail run with my 4Runner I bought a few months ago. I ran Bald Mountain Gulch which is pretty close to Chinaman's Gulch. It is a fairly easy trail with some good scenic views. There are a few hard spots(especially since my front tires are pretty worn down). This trail follows County Road 300 and the first thing you drive past is the Arkansas River

This part partically sucked with crappy front tires. I kept sliding towards the rock wall, but it got through like a champ

This section was the worst part. I did a lot of 3 wheel stands going down. I didn't know it dead-ended at the bottom of the hill so I had to make back up. Luckily I have the E-locker or else I am pretty sure I would still be down there.
