@loco, these are the pictures I promised from the Yukon trip a couple weeks ago. Pretty much all the pictures we get are from in the cab so they're mostly scenery shots, buuuuut:

There was lots of buffalo (in Northern BC, on the way)

The first real town you see in Yukon is Watson Lake. They have a tourist attraction where people stop and nail signs to poles in the middle of town.. it's a little forest of signs and license plates.

It's kind of a sketchy town though. I didn't want to stay long.

We continued up the highway a bit
    [IMG]

Then made a turn straight South and took an ooolllld road back into BC.

    ...then we hurried home.

Here's a couple shots from today. This is just an afternoon drive with the girlfriend.

If you look closely you can see the trail we were taking. I have a few new pinstripes.

As always, lots of scenery and wildlife.

Got a call that grandma had a stroke. Drove 25 hours to see her. Went straight to the hospital when I got to my home town... while I was inside, somebody took my truck out in the parking lot. What a day. bddad3295db7726ac39ff3120a2c7200_45f005dd3ebb1c57c2b38d9e24ad7d943a6fc3d7.jpg476064252e8fe11579f490efaa445b17_68985383a2cffd5e03a4f5bf6f709e2d8d6c63c0.jpg

Wow man I'm so sorry to hear all the horrible news. I really hope and pray that your grandma is okay and that everything gets fixed with your truck.

Sorry to hear Seth. Hopefully she makes a quick and full recovery.

The wreck is just an excuse for more mods :p

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Grandma didn't make it through the night. I'm really glad I got to see her.

I talked to insurance and dropped the truck off at the dealership for repairs today. While I was there I spotted this and it's sort of helping me feel better. e012b6a0797b84f525dd29db0357d054_b8fa64fdbb01fb7afa9d2f9b0193aae1afc2a41a.jpg

Thanks Phil. All things considered it could have been a lot worse. Enough negativity in the build thread though!

FRS is cool. Needs to consume air and fuel a little faster though. Turbo would make it a riot.

Too bad our Canadian dollar is doing so poorly. That 6k jumps up reaaal quick. 300hp sure would make that thing a blast though.

Supercharger is going in the Taco as we speak. Damage from the wreck has also been assessed... lots of stuff on that list but should be good as new in a couple days. Well, better than new!

Supercharger is in the Taco. Initial thoughts: it's loud. Power increase certainly noticeable but definitely not a race car. I think I'm back to stock power:weight ratio 4422a370ce7f6967189e682631aeb8d9_2c7fdd8923d0ea458746852ae9d4e2e95da44454.jpg

Op, I'd be down for an expo to Alaska next summer.

I am from Kelowna but reside in Calgary now. Let me know if you are ever out this way.

Sat down with the girlfriend last night and started planning the trip to Alaska. Leaving July 7th, 2016! Will be stopping in anchorage to be tourists, going to Prudhoe Bay because it seems pretty necessary for an Alaska expedition, and seeing Inuvik and Dawson City while we're out (although not in Alaska). Future planning will involve much research into trails - this aint no Expedition Overland sight seeing trip. We're gonna be getting stuck a lot (I hope).
