This is only out today. There was a "quick spin" segment released around the time of the Tacoma demo in Washington, but the full review is new. How come no one else mentions how gutless these trucks are at low RPM's? Is it the new normal? Is the Colorado like that?

I've been watching MotorWeek (or as the host says "Motorhhhweek") on PBS since I was a kid.

Good review. Looks like they are pointing out a few more issues than than the initial ones that were invited to the unveiling event.

Not saying it's a crap truck, just saying it's not as good as a lot of people think it is (or in my case want it to be).

I suspect in the coming months there will be a few more issues pointed out as more and more reviews are complete - will be interesting to see what Consumer Report and Edmunds say. The former for sure buys their vehicles and are more unbiased - I have seen a few reviews too where Edmunds buys their vehicles.

Thanks TJ for posting the video. I'm not pleased to hear about the lack of sound deadening and excessive road noise at highway speeds.

This is probably old news but he said with v6 4*4 its 17 city/21 highway mpg and 19/24 with 4*2

Is that right? That 4*4 mpg is shit. It's the same as the gen 2.

Most interviews remark about how quiet the cabin is. When I test drive one I was blown away by the quiet ride.
