Oh, pfffff by the time I'm ready to install a new motor I'll be waaaay past the point of caring on that. Worst case I go find an LS or something of the same year and go big. At that point i'll be fully LT'd out.

 

Oh gotcha. In that case, 5.7 or LS. Speaking of LT, got my coilovers back from DSM and had King 700# coils put on. Already not a huge fan of the blue but I guess that was my bad.

True. Unless I keep pounding on it the way I do lol. Plus I keep adding HP, so sooner or later it's gonna just up and quit on me and then I'll either go down the Torspd route and start boring it out and upgrading internals, or go the new engine route and find something bigger and better. Who knows though, i'm relatively sure I'll get a good couple years out of this thing at LEAST

 

What made you not like the kings? sorry I'm just looking into getting their MT set up

 

I think he just doesn't like the blue.

You can order custom color springs when you buy the kings.

I've got a set of Brembo Blanks and Hawk LTS pads I bought for my old truck but never installed...I'm either gonna sell this set if anyone want them, or throw them on when I stop being lazy. I'd rather toss this stage 5 ERB kit on thats in my Amazon cart.. anything but the stock brakes.

Sidenote, coming home from work yesterday morning at about 5 AM, going up 680, some fucking Semi with an empty trailer decides he wants to pass the one in front of him doing 60, zero blinkers or notice, just swerves in front of me as im doing almost 80, about 10 feet in front of my truck. I definitely mashed brakes and ABS turned into a potato and i heard my tires just squealing along until I slowed down enough to let my foot off the brake. Which, all in all took about 3 seconds, but still.. Kinda glad ABS potato'd out in that situation or I'd have probably been halfway up on the back of that trailer.

 

I just use a wooden gardening stake as a platform to push the piston back in with a large c clamp. Works great for me.
