Ok i think i get it now. Instead of using the bus bars, replace with 2awg wire and relocate the entire solenoid.

Now that I've owned the dirt bike for over a month, it's finally getting a shake down run. I got the new tire on it, suspension all adjusted, valves adjusted, new clutch, fresh oil, bearings checked and greased, now it's time to see what she'll do or see what else is going to break... I still need to finish sorting out the electrical crap, but the ignition, kill switch, headlight, tail light and brake work, signals... not so much but my arms are working just fine.

I'm finally going to move forward with a small lift. I was thinking of the wheelers 2" aal and 5100's? It's for nothing other than feeding my Napoleon complex

Well, it's no highway bike, tops out at 65 the way it's currently geared, haha. Coming off a 750 Katana which was jetted and piped, the little 350 feels like a dog but I can't say that wasn't expected. It's a very unrefined bike, makes lots of noise and the DOT knobby tires are scary coming from sport biking handling. The front is even scary on gravel, feels like it wants to constantly wash out. The new rear hooked up awesome on the gravel road but not great on pavement. I went into a corner a little too hot and did a bit of drifting, fortunately I learned that lesson without road rash! The bike runs well, it'll take some getting used to but I'm happy with the new machine. Can't wait to get it into the woods!

That's where you'll really enjoy it. Probably 5 miles on that will be more fun than 50 on the can of tuna

Morning all. I am headed to North Hampton VA today to visit with a good buddy. He has to go out once a year with his service dog to get what he calls a "tune up".

I'm sure of it, and no traffic to contend with! I'll add a tooth to the front or drop on in the rear when the time comes for a new chain anyways. I want to be able to semi comfortably hold 60-65.
    Have fun, Billy!
