Black and Tan DCLB Build

Oh yes I just painted the rings, emblem and shifter knob base. That was on my old tuck. I think i will do it again on my new one in a different color. Something that pops more. I also did the grill emblem which I have on my truck now. (It looks more green in person, but still doenst really stand out)

 

Nice! Thanks. I agree with you. It's nice but a little subtle. I may go for something that pops a little more. Did you have to remove the whole cluster to get the rings off? Played around with it the other day a bit by just prying on the rings but scared to break em.

 

Yeah you dont want to pull on them. You need to take the plastic surround off the gauges and there are inner tabs that need to be popped to get the rings off. Somewhere there is a write up about it.

Didn't like the nightshade on the fogs.. Plus it didn't stay well on the glass. I picked up some Lamin-x lense covers. Managed to get them on with minor wrinklingon one edge.. It was a bit**.
