    Waiting for a shipping notification still. I sent Josh a PM on Friday. Haven't heard back. Left a voice message for RCI Metal Works earlier today and haven't heard back from that either.

    Talked to him shortly after I ordered and he thought my skids would ship out end of last week. I thought the original post said they had them already in stock?


    Edit: Looks like I got tracking numbers by email today. :)

    installed mine today, the old ones put up a hell of a fight till the end but they had to be put out of their misery. It had a tear probably 3/4 the length of it and to many dents to count. The one thing that amazes me is no matter what there is always one bolt that doesnt want to come out.

    Just got a teaser photo from my powder coater! :) Doing a double layer and this shows the first layer. Doing a clear coat over the second.

    Skid will be white to match my truck. Mounting bolts will be black. Stormtrooper all the way!

    @Joshp767 I noticed a new redesigned transfer case crossmember on your website. Says it only works on purchases made after 9/7/2015 and promises significant improvement in strength and better ground clearance.

    I presume this means those of us who ordered during this Group Buy got the old design?

    Thought I'd share photos with those of you involved in this Group Buy! :)

    Had my RCI skids powder coated in "Cloud White" by a local guy.



    I was forced to overlap my transmission skid plate improperly due to my factory exhaust pipe. Long story - but it hangs down more than the spacer accounted for. Had to add washers to shim it down and that made it nearly impossible to get the transmission skid on top of the transfer case skid. Eventually I guess I'll have to have my exhaust rerouted so I can get rid of the spacer and do it properly!
