    Hey all,

Just purchased a '16 Taco TRD Sport 4x4 and am in complete love. I look forward to being a part of the TW community. I'm in the Florida panhandle and looking to take it out and camp. That's an open invite to others locally.

    Couple Questions:

I want to give her an undercoat. Any suggestions? What all should be sprayed? What should be avoided? Can I screw anything up if I DIY? Can I spray anything that is metal? My plan is to avoid rust.

Any other preventative maintenance I could do now that would be helpful?

    Running boards, recommendations?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Welcome! On the running boards, I wouldn't go with them. If you plan on offloading get sliders, and if you don't plan on offloading but want some kind of step bars, I'd go with nerf bars.

Welcome to TW! That's a beautiful truck you got yourself. If I was going to get a 2016 that's the color I would get.

Thx! Yea, I don't want boards, I just didn't know the lingo. The nerf boards is what I was thinking. Others told me it looks best with nothing, so I might keep it naked!

The 16's do look really good without nerf bars. If you're not lifting it a crazy amount, you won't need them (I've got a 6" lift and it definitely helps to have them to get into the cab).
