Fear The Walking Dead

Hardly. This show wouldn't stand a chance on its own if it wasn't for The Walking Dead. A lot of good tv shows nowadays to put up with this.

 

And you can say this unequivocally because......?

 

If TWD didn't exist and this show came out on its own it would do just fine. Zombies are trending high and this show has done exactly what it needs to to keep interest (albeit not yours...) and returning viewers. It is just at a disadvantage right now because TWD is such a popular show that it is being compared to, when actually it is quite a different show

I like tonight episode got some small back ground on the barber maybe other dudes balls finally dropped. And the woman is definitely gonna be the next rick I think

A little disappointed in the lack of walkers/infected in this episode but they did a good job setting up the finale which looks to be zombie-filled...

Season finale...... WTF. It just started.

 

Just like TWD season 1

 

It's not a bad show at all. Defiantly not as good as TWD, but they are different shows. Sort of wish the story line filled the gap with the time Rick got shot until he woke up in the hospital, but I can see how they want to separate the two shows. They can kinda do whatever they want with this series since they aren't bound by the expectations n of what happens in the comic books.

I don't mind the slow storyline, but the season was pretty short...

 

I thought last night's episode was fantastic! There was a lot more revealed to the survivors than previous episodes. Moyer, the commanding officer was pretty much just laying it all out that the dead are walking and there's rotting corpses between the neighborhood and the facility that they took the sick and trouble makers too. The soldiers also were not holding back info any longer and just talking to Travis about the new reality. I think Travis made a turn this episode because he really understands the gravity of the situation now, and that the world will never be the same. The library rescue turned out to be a slaughter, and Moyer got killed. Soldiers are now bugging out and going on their own to find their own families. Chaos is sure to ensue in the finale knowing there are 2000+ infected in the arena.

The soldier that Daniel was torturing for info also laid everything on the table. It took a few skinnings of his arm, but he eventually revealed mission Cobalt. All those sick and penned in trouble makers are due to be "humanely" executed. I can anticipate either a rescue attempt, or knowing that there is a lot of city inbetween the neighborhood and the facility where Nick is held, he may just escape with the new character who seems to be a hustler. He will be on the run with this guy and will probably go through some type of growing before he is reunited with his family next season IMO.

 

Actually, I think the term "humane termination" refers to everyone in the L.A. basin, not just the arena. That's why the military was bugging out.

 

Could be huh? Much like the flashback scene in TWD where they are camped outside of Atlanta, and witness the helos going in firebombing the city.

 

PLOT TWIST, They nuke the entire city, all the characters die a painful death, there is no season 2.
