285's.... Smooth ride minus the steering wheel wobble. Any way to fix it. I assume an alignment.IMG_4815.jpg

I'm sure you can see it in this photo but my driver side allignment looks way off. Going to have a talk to the people that did my alignment. 2" of lift shouldn't really give me that much trouble with alignment issues :notsure:

I just installed a set of Trd headers on the truck. Quick question though. Where are you guys mounting your pyrometers at on these? I believe there is an afr spot in there already right before it meets the cat.. Just need to figure out where to place the egt sensor

Yea I saw that you had that happen. These are the Bead2Bead so basically a full remold with Treadwright branding on the sidewall. Time will tell!

Sounds like the infamous steering column rattle.. Lemme dig up the fix.. Could also be worn steering rack bushings, easy to replace

Yeah I saw that they have that now. I think I am just salty because they said since the issue supposedly was in the casing, their warranty wouldn't cover it.

Plan on giving the Cooper ST Maxx a shot in the 315/75r16 variety next.

A 2inch will change front camber & caster. I personally did a 2 inch lift on my Taco and had to adjust both camber & caster afterwards.

A lot of lazy ass techs just adjust front Toe so that your steering wheel is straight or centered. They call it "Toe and Go".

Yea I know they won't warranty the used casings, IIRC the B2B carry a 2yr warranty on the casings also.

Oohh stepping it up huh?!.. bust out the :sawzall:

Ironically this just started on my truck too. My turn signal blinks hyper fast when I push it into the "left" position. The blinker indicator doesn't light up on the gauge cluster and the turn signal light doesn't blink/light up either.

    Turning right works just fine.

I think it's either dirty contacts on the stalk or a bad stalk/switch itself. I never took it apart to see if there are contacts to be cleaned but that my gut feeling.

If it was a relay then I'd suspect it would happen when I turned right as well.

Hmm, making me consider the TR's again. I loved my guard dogs performance wise. And fuck yeah! Want to skip the 33's step if I can considering the trails we hit at Rausch. Will force my hand to regear too which will hopefully let me cut back on NFG hammer downing.

Let's see, opinions, oh yes, I have those:

    5100s: Dog Shit
5100s with preloaded TRD progress coils: Hammered Dog Shit
5100s with 881: a decent improvement on the last point

I had the 5100s on the middle clip to start with to with shitty stock coils. Gained a bit over an inch of lift going to the 881s. So I was sitting right at about 2" I believe. I have no interest in running a top plate spacers, as it pushes down shock travel uneven to the other side. That being said, I do have a trim packer below the coil on my current OME setup as that has no effect on travel.

Keep in mind I wheel my truck, YMMV.

255/85/16 Might be a good alternate choice. A nice tall (typically 33.3") with a 10.50" treadwith. 5spd's have a lower 1st gear then autos so may be able to pull that off if the gears seem to far out.

Yeah I thought about the tall skinny 33's too, but the gearing is already tough for me with stock 4.10's, hoping to go 5.29 with the small 35's and not need to install a crawlbox. I won't be able to do 90 anymore comfortably but I generally only hit 90 when I'm rushing to get to Rausch.

I'm pissed I am going to miss your rig's maiden run sas'ed.

Gotcha, if skipping the crawlbox definitley need a 5.29 to make up the difference.

I'm sure there will be plenty of pics. Just need to test and tune today & tomorrow to be ready for the drive up to Rausch (built to drive up and back).
