Tomorrow. Seats and carpet are already out, the sound dampening crap is trapping moisture so I'm pulling that up. Cut out the cancer, weld in new floor, and I have leftover roll-on bedliner from when I when I did the inside of the Tacoma's cab. Reinstall the old carpet until I can get a new one.

Soooo considering these bucket seats have seen better days, and the springs under one side of the seat are completely snapped in half

And the original Corbeau seat I picked for the Taco is too big, I found another use for it. :anonymous:

And is the carb choke electrical? I found some aftermarket wires hanging out in the engine bay, followed them back through the firewall, right... to... the... supposed choke button/switch.

It depends on what carb you have. There were different versions throughout the years. There should be a small tag held in by one of the screws the holds the carb to the intake. Mine was electric but it was automatic. Worked off temp not a switch I believe

You can swap in about any seats out of pickups or 4Runner's up. May have to modify them done but not much. Just don't get carried away and cut the cab up like last time.

Yeah, I just had this on hand and was planning on selling it anyway since it's too tall for the Tacoma. Already built the base for it and works great. Wrapping up the new floor pan today too.

I replaced the valve cover gaskets and was replacing the o-ring seal on the distributor. But like a dumb fuck, I somehow snapped the body of the distributor in half, right at the notch for the o ring during reinstall. So who knows when I'm going to find a replacement for that. I might attempt to TIG welding it back together, I don't have anything to lose by trying.

I already suggested to Supra TT that I swap in the 3RZ so it has a home until the Tacoma is finished. He didn't like the idea. :luvya:

3RZ swaps are fairly simple. Just have to make some motor mounts plus wiring. Trans bolts up and I think you retain the 3RZ clutch but not sure. It's been done plenty of times. Then you could do a 2JZ in the Tacoma :spy:
