ridgelines arent bad..a buddy of mine has one and he towed 6k lbs cross country..went wheeling with him too and i have to admit he got stuck in a pretty decent sized puddle..lol.my taco and my buddies supercharged frontier got through everything without problems..

its not for everyone..the interior is alot nicer and it also has a truck/cooler which is pretty cool..but still i wouldnt own one..

    my wife also wants one..haha

I hate the look of the Ridgeline, interior and exterior. It's one ugly truck IMO.

My friend has a Ridgline - I actually like it.

    What it's good at:
    Comfortable.
Decent ride and handling (better in this department than my 07' Pre-Runner)
    Tons of usable room.
The in-bed trunk is super convenient.
Gets you to a trail head, handles dirt roads, some snow bad weather well.

    What it's not good at:
    Off-roading.
Handling really heavy loads or trailers.
    It gets shitty gas mileage!

It is solid and well screwed-together. Drives and handles without annoying bed-flex.
It is not built to do what a body-on frame truck does - but handles tasks within its design parameters very well.

Would I trade it for my Taco?
Nah, but I still think it's a decent vehicle.

When it comes to mid-size trucks this is my ranking : 1. Tacoma, 2. Frontier & 3. Ridgeline. My dad has a Frontier and my cousin has a Ridgeline, so I get to see all three a lot.

Ridgelines make good 4 wheelers , like 4 wheelers are good economy cars.

Now a real fight, besides style, opinions, etc, is which is better at going up the road skiing, hauling 400 lb or so to a campground 400 miles or so. It probably wouldnt matter.

max tq 4500rpm max hp 6000rpm but it was almost making more hp to the wheels than we have at the crank at 5500 rpm i dont see why this is negative, its very close power bands we have a little more tq they have a little more hp, i dont see the argument is what im saying

Way more weight to the vehicle. For a smaller engine it's MPG is horrible compared to our V6. Don't get me wrong, I love Honda, and the Ridgeline is no exception, but I won't trade my Taco for it.

i doubt the weight is much diff, and i wouldn't trade for mine either, but they make good power for the engine, i wouldnt be surprised if its faster from a roll, overall its good for some and not for others, its not for off road but makes a great on road truck.

LOL. After I posted my comment, I too was waiting for someone to say that.

I just come from an area where if it's a truck, it's 4wd (and that includes 4lo).

How many lift kits are there for Ridgelines?

Also, not to bash the Ridgeline, just a comparison (Which I ripped off a Ridgeline forum)

Hopefully you start seeing the BFG Baja TAs as replacments. BFG got that contract and have been making tons of them since then.

Quotes like this grind my gears (Peter Griffin). Of course the Baja is awesome. I can make any vehicle awesome if you give me $30,000 of aftermarket money to pour into it.
