2009 Tacoma Stock Stereo questions:

A few questions that I have tonight:

1: Does the stereo have a Radio Data System (RDS)? It tells you the name of the song playing....

2: Does the Double cab have the subwoofer?

 

The double cab only has a sub woofer of you bought the JBL audio package. (If you don't have the JBL package though, don't worry because it's far from anything special and a curse when you go to upgrade).


As far as what's on the radio, I believe it will display what is on the radio if the station is broadcasting that information (but I could be wrong), try using the text button.

 

I don't own a tacoma yet, but I'll be shopping this spring. I was curious as these are some of the features I forgot to ask for while paroosing the toyota lot today!
