Funny to hear your experiences with Camelback. That is where I bought my 15 cause they were the most willing to deal and not let me walk. Totally different experience in my book.

I broke up with big2 for my Toyota Care after they screwed up. I may try Power for my next oil change since its so close to me.

When I bought my 06 tacoma, it was from Camelback. They had a sell going on. They were a little hard sell in tactics. We started to walk and I told them I could get the same truck at Avondale for X amount. It was less than their offer. They matched Avondale's offer.

Parts department is very good. Sells is a bit high pressure, but you can get a good deal if your willing to walk.

It may have been this particular salesman. But he also assumed i was a landscaper because I'm Mexican. I was still willing to deal with him but they know that manual truck is rare so they didn't back off msrp. I walked and since then haven't had a call back.

I consider myself an expert at this game now. Honestly is the best policy and don't put up with any BS that some dealers shovel. So don't be scared to stand up and walk... Ever

Riverview was where I used to take my 08. They had a few great service writers then. I also test drove a Trail Team 4Runner there.

Yeah. Chris seems really nice. I'll probably be waiting a while until I stumble on another mt taco.

Just wondering... How much did he lose out from trading in his 15?

I don't see why they can't grab one if you put a down payment?

Not that you will be able to test drive. I talked to them and they have 7 orders for manual 3rd gens. Every single one they get is sold from now until a long time.

I think they have 10 trd sports in Prescott at tims auto group.. The salesmen are about worthless on knowing their line up but I thought I would throw it out. He said they might have one manual available but wasn't sure. I think the one I saw was listed at 36k

I asked him specifically if they had a manual in stock and he said he thought they might have one but wasn't sure. Problem is that he also said that "there are no real differences between the sport and the off road".. Not a very good sale pitch if he couldn't even tell me what the differences were to someone who drove there in a trd OR. haha. But maybe give them a call.. And if you come up here.. I'll meet you there and tell you which salesmen NOT to talk to. :)

What's the difference between an SR and an SR5. Just curious. I'm looking for an access cab 4WD with a towing package too. Don't need the other gadgets. Riverview Toyota is the closest to my home. Maybe I'll call Chris and get more info.

I was playing around on Toyota.com and found a Inferno Off Road with the orange stitch and accents fully loaded for just under 40k. I wonder who in the state has it? Be fun to look at for sure
