Highly doubt it.... With MWR going out, who will he drive for in the meantime?

Rumored Scott Motorsports next year. Not like he'd starve to death if he didn't drive next year either.

It's already confirmed. He's in the #51 with 5 Hour energy. Allgaier is out of a ride.

I'm no Bowyer fan but he can certainly elevate the Harry Scott team. That team is no slouch. Sure, they're second tier equipment but they have third tier drivers. Put a first tier driver in there and he'll elevate that team. Look at what Tony did with Hass Racing when he jumped on board. I'd like to see more musical chairs each season. That's how it used to be until the mid-90s when it got so corporate, the sponsors wanted longer contracts to lock in their new spokespersons. I remember back when Terry Lobonte, Sterling Marlin, Jimmy Spencer, Dick Trickle, Hut Stricklin and others were swapping rides every season. I like the idea of shuffling the deck every other year rather than a driver sticking with a team his/her whole career (Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin). Seeing how Kyle Busch (5 to 18), Joey Logano (20 to 22), Kevin Harvick (29 to 4), Matt Kenseth (17-20) and now Carl Edwards (99 to 19) are giving results with new teams proves that another tumble of the dice is good for drivers and teams.

He is a top 25 driver at worst, doesn't qualify as "sucks" to me, especially in inferior equipment. Now Danica Patrick? She sucks. Trevor Bayne? He sucks. Ricky Stenhouse? Sucks.

It stinks to see the bright red Brandt car go away. It was one of the few bold cars on track that actually looked like a race car.

Tony badly wanted Kyle Larson to replace him in the #14. Unfortunately they couldn't get the contract stuff worked out and Bowyer became available. Dang. I'd love to see Larson in top tier equipment backed by Bass Pro.

A few scenarios for the soon to be vacated seat of the #9 RPM car driven by Slam Hornish:
They're shopping around for a new manufacturer. If they stay with Ford, David Ragan or Chris Beuscher will probably take the seat.
Now that FRR has confirmed a move to TRD, this opens the RCR alliance. If they go to Chevy (which they will likely do), Ragan Smith or Ty Dillon will likely fill the seat.

Last bit of news: John Wes Townley's family team is pulling the plug on his Xfinity efforts to focus on his truck series efforts. I guess they're hemorrhaging too much $ on wrecked cars EVERY SINGLE WEEK.
