Anyone got a set of stock take off rims/tires I can borrow for a day or two? Basically I need them to make my 12 a roller until I can get the rims/tires from the new truck swapped over.. My hope is to get my 12 back to stock friday night, then move it out of the garage and get started on the 16 Saturday morning.

 

I can lend my spares I forsure have 1 maybe 2 then what if you took ur 12 spare an 16 spare?

ALSO... Im about to purchase some 5100 and Eibach coils. Im also going to purchase the top plate assembly from Oreilly's just because im not experienced enough to disassemble the ones on my truck. (My current set up is a Revtek 3" setup with a 1 inch block that i want to remove) Is there anyone in the Chandler area that can help? I have some tools but my jack and jack stands are a bit short. I can provide $ or Drinks & Pizza.

Dam Charlie. I wanted those eibach coils. You're faster on the trigger. Google shock replacement on a Tacoma. There are plenty of videos on how to do it. It's not that hard of a job. I have it down to less than 2 hours with several beer brakes. Wish I could help but the drive is longer than the job.

 

I'm making a run from Tucson to PHX today on my way to LA. If anyone needs anything brought up, I am stopping in Tempe to meet up with T-Rev.

 

Super easy to dissemble and reassemble. Just undo to top nuts, use a pair of visgrips on the plastic rock gaurd to grab the shaft to hold it from spinning when you're loosening the but from the top of the shock. But first take apart your lower control arm and drop it (remember to mark the arms with whiteout or a sharpie for better luck with alignment) let the LCA droop, and put a jack under the shock to compress it. And at this point take off the top nuts and use the vise grips , remove nut on top of shock (middle one) and then slowly lower the jack to decompress and remove ... Then reverse the process..
