here is my mount, i also bought the firestick fire ring coaxial cable. my old cable kept pulling out of the antena, so something to think about before you buy your setup. the fire ring is the thick black piece under the mount.

I'll get the beers while you guys install my CB...hahaha..I am freaken lazy I just want it done...I will either get the 19 or the 75...compact one like Roger and Daniel. I think I might go with the Lil Wil though and just mount it on the top of my roof...I just emailed Right Channel Radio to see what they recommend...I should have it for the mod day but not this weekend at Oco...but I might not run the big trail with everyone...that is a lot of trucks.

Can you show me where did you run the coax out of the cab?

I'm thinking through the firewall, but the connector is big. I might just cut the connector and then replace it. Maybe you did different.

no picture needed, open sliding back window, slide cable through the window then close said window.

I brought my pop n lock wires through the large grommet under the dirver's seat....

I have my coax cable going down under the driver's side door grommet, too.

 

Do you have to take out the seat for that?

 

Nope.

really easy. Toughest part is figuring out how to get the coaxial cable from inside your cab to your antenna without making it look retarded. Once you know where the holes at, just slip it in and everythings a breeze from there.

 

You just need to pull the carpet up a little bit and take off the plastic piece between the carpet and the door.

 

I ran my cable through the door sill panels, and out the small hole located behind the rear drivers side seats (behind the mag lite mount).

 

right on thanks fellas i know exactly were your talking about... cuz thats how my system is setup... if its coo with u guys do u mind posting a pic on where the receiving end is when it goes to the antenna...??
