I know this has probably been addressed a million times on here and I have done the research. I thought I had decided on the husky liner x-act.... until I realized that a front pair is currently $119 and the whole set of weathertechs are $69.

I was leaning towards husky because I read these things:
    -Better fit with less gaps
-more of a rubber material (are weathertechs a hard plastic?)
-Screw in fastner for easier removal.

I currently have the rubber Toyota mats, I anticipate that both of these will be a major upgrade. Feel free to chime in on that part.

Double check that Weathertech price. I've never seen them anywhere near that low.

I've had both, and both are good. I much prefer the Husky's. I have the X-Act Contours in the front and the Weatherbeater in the back currently. The X-Act is much nicer than the Weathertech in my opinion - softer, deeper grooves, non-slip. The Husky's also fit better (both X-Act and Weatherbeater) than my Weathertechs did in my Tacoma. The Weatherbeater is very similar to the Weathertech and very good, but I much prefer the X-Acts.

WeatherFails for 69.00 shit I'll buy 10 sets just to sell them at the normal 170.00 or so. I got Husky Xact fits front and rear. Had WeatherGaps they sucked. Go with the Husky's you will not be disappointed.

My vote goes to Weathertech. I've been happier with them than the previous Husky liners, but I don't think you can really go wrong with either.

I believe they are both close to the same price but I went with Husky X-Act because of the research I did here. I couldn't be more happy with them. Never had Weathertech but if they are the hard plastic like I've read, I'm sure they are mighty slick. My vote is for Husky.

I have husky liners and love them. they fit nice, clean easily and look good. I ended up getting them for $110 (DC) off Amazon used, they looked new when I got them and came in the original box so I think I made out pretty good.

Ive never had Huskys, but ive also never had a problem with my Weathertechs at all. I have them front and back and so far, the carpet underneath looks just like it did the day I bought her. plenty of days stepping through puddles to get into the truck, tons of mud on them etc, etc. theyre stained, scratched and abused but still never a problem.

I have a set of weathertechs in my truck and all the work trucks. My next set will definitely be Husky. After about a year the weathertechs seemed to warp and fold in on itself on the sides. Thought maybe it was just the truck sitting in the heat and sun but then a garage kept truck did the same thing. Happened on three trucks (all different makes and models) and my brothers truck. Granted weathertech did take care of them no problem through warranty, I was hoping for something with a little bit better quality for the price.

My WT are "ok". My previous ones in my 2006 seemed to hold up better over time (5 years).
The ones in my 2013 already seemed to be wearing through by my right foot :(
Never had Husky liners but saw some on CL and the photos seemed like they were thicker. :notsure:
Also the cheezy logo badge never stays on once road salt gets to it.

It's really splitting hairs, but i say Weathertecs are better. Huskys are more rubbery and flexible, and weathertecs are more rigid. Guaranteed after you put em in, theyll work perfect and youll never think about em again, no matter which ones you choose because theyll both do their job perfect.

Think its preference. Weather tech is more of a hard plastic feel where the Husky's feel like rubber. I love my weather techs and specifically wanted them for the light weight hard plastic feel. Looks like their part of my floor.

Thanks to all for the input! Any of the Husky supporters think it is worth saving $50 for the weathertechs?

Girlfriend is getting me this for my birthday... If I got the weathertechs I could maybe talk her into a bed mat too.

I have weather techs in my 07 Double cab and my dad has huskys in his gmc. His definitely fit better than mine do. The weather techs have a decent size gap near the door on both of my fronts. The back fits great. It doesn't bother me too much, but I wish I would have known that before I bought them. I do like the material of the WTs more. I'd say get whatever you can find for cheaper honestly, both will get the job done.

weathertecs are not slick what so ever... and the more rigidness makes it better for when you pull them out it keeps all the dirt...

I got weathertecs because i got a good deal on them, if they were the same price i may have went husky.. if anything I always try to get name brand, seems to help with resell

Love my WeatherTechs but I've also heard nothing but good things on the Husky liners too. The Weathertechs aren't slick at all despite being less rubbery. They do have the holes for the factory mat hold downs but unless you plan on taking the doors off and going mudding, you won't notice anything getting through the gaps. I also have 0 problems with the fit - over 1 year and no issues.

If the price difference is only 50 bucks in all honesty just get what will make you happier in the long run. They are both pretty reputable brands, some have bad luck with one brand while others have bad luck with the other brand. Maybe if you're buying them from a local vendor they have an out of box, display, or return model you can see in person and help your decision.
When I was looking at the 2, Huskys were quite a bit more so I opted out.

    5100's all around. Front's set at 1.75" 265/75/16 Duratracs.
I have Weathertechs in my Tacoma and my girlfriend has Husky's in her outback. I don't think you can go wrong with either. When comparing the two she has the Husky Weatherbeaters as that's all they make for the Outback. The fit and finish between the Weathertechs and the Husky's seemed to be right on par. I do like my Weathertechs a little better but that is my personal opinion.
