The outlet of the compressor gets kind of hot but it does have a brass lead off. The tank is 1.5 gallon, port size 1/4npt.

Air brake push lock would be best except for the heat at the compressor, extended run time could cause excessive heat and hose to melt.

My work van I have a wheel barrow style compressor and hose real, plumbed with 3/8" (-6) hydraulic line to the hose reel, been like that for several years. And there are times I run the pump so hard the air coming out is hot ( not a good thing but it happens )

You can get a 1/4" NPT to -6 adapter then have a hose made up to your length, if you just go NPT crimped to end of hose ( it's available ) you have to spin the hose to thread it in, kinda tough to do at both ends or with a long run. I Recommend 3/8" ( -6 ) hose and fittings for a bit better flow. you can get -6 fittings in straight, 90° and 45° long and short, I recommend one end be straight, crimped angle fittings on both ends need to be positioned prior to crimping, off just a bit and it may not connect square.
Oh, and using hydraulic hose, you'll never exceed 2500psi pressure limit

I have a compressor I will be plumbing in my own junk pretty soon, and will be doing this myself, need to find an additional tank first.

Im going to Expo this weekend, wife cutting out any more fun activities after that for me for awhile. My set up is very basic and old school in my opinion but works. I bought 50' of heavy duty Goodyear 3/8 air hose. Then used 1/4NPT to 3/8 hose barb fittings (or adapted for were going). Keep extra couple feet of hose in tool kit and bunch spare fittings and some 3/8 barb to 3/8 bard for if need to splice piece in. My tank also under bed, ran hoses along frame rails (actually pretty easy to keep clean) The hardest place for me to run the hose was from frame up to pump, mine near ABS (not really hard just to keep looking clean)

Yea going to sell my 81 truck and build a small camping/overlanding style trailer for family camping. The past two trips wheeling the Taco, its done great and was actually more fune than using the big truck. So going to the Expo to get ideas and camp up there for 4 days.

Yea he was on the trail, it was slick and he slid into a ditch, was very close to tipping to. It had front and rear winches, and both were needed to get him out

there first trail was super slick, and the speed we were going gave 0 chance of trying to clean the tires. The second trail they took us on wasn't really slick just super tight and fairly technical and super fun.

Sounded like it was supposed to rain all week, AND there's a big storm off the Outer Banks rolling in.

I've been watching the weather and there's a 60% of rain every day up were overland east is. My gear just about dried from last weekend, just to get soaked again
